Last Friday, Jan. 28th, Heekin Ave was closed to traffic from 3:30 PM to well after 10:00 PM due to a four-seven car pile up on a blind curve during the snow storm. Of course weather was the primary cause, but we want you to know that residents also have noted a speeding problem on Heekin under normal circumstances. We have partnered with our residents to reach out to the City on this issue. A big thank you to the Fire Department and EMS workers! Everyone: Please drive safely! Protect yourself and our residents.
